Clara has inspired me . She has so much determination. When she sets a goal she does it. She does not shy away from it. She does not quit. She has a plan, adapts it if she needs. Clara has never let her speech difficulties get in the way of her goals. She has always participated. She never holds back. When she was in Grade five she gave a speech at school. Her topic was American Girl. She wn her school and went on to the district speech contest. She did it perfectly. I remember thinking that if someone could have told me that she would do this when she was four i would have not believed them. It was a mother's victory!! Since then there have been many times that Clara has exceeded beyond anything we could have hoped for. Clara is one amazing girl. Persistence is the word that comes to my mind that is a strong trait.
